City police would like to apologize for the lack of information about the overnight incidents due to computer problems. The problem has now been corrected but the reports are backlogged.


BREAK & ENTERS
The Sault Ste Marie Police Service was busy yesterday clearing up some break and enters. Yesterday police arrested and charged four young males.

The youths, all in their early teens, were charged with Break and Enter, Attempt-Break and Enter, Possession of House Breaking Tools, Breach of Recognizance, and Attempt Theft Over $ 5,000.

The charges stem from three unrelated incidents that took place between February 24-25 at the Steelton Shoe Store at 202 Wellington Street West, a residence in the 100 block of Woodhurst Avenue on March 7th, and a residence in the 100 block of Summit Avenue yesterday afternoon.

Three of the youths will be appearing in Bail Court today at 1:30 PM. The fourth youth was release on an undertaking.

Your City Police Service is investigating 4 Break and Enters in the past 24 hours. The Good Life Fitness Center, at 677 Queen Street East, was broken into early this morning.

Entry was gained by forcing the rear door. It is not known what was taken. The M & M Meat Shop on Great Northern Road was also broken into early this morning.

It is not known how entry was gained or what was taken. Other break-ins include Kelly's Hair Care at 27 Great Northern Road and The Dollar Plus Store at 248 Northern Avenue East.
