On the 20th of June, 2014 at 3:50 a.m., city police attended in the area of Tilley Road for a mischief complaint. Upon arrival to the area, police observed a vehicle being operated in an erratic fashion. The vehicle was stopped and the driver appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. As a result of the investigation 29-year-old Jamie Hodgson of Wellington Street East was arrested and charged with over 80. He will appear in court on July 28, 2014.
On June 19, 2014 officers responded to domestic violence complaint. It is alleged that on June 18, 2014 the accused female, age 49, assaulted her ex-husband by punching him in the face. The accused was arrested and charged with assault. The accused will appear in bail court on June 20, 2014 at 10 a.m.
On June 19, 2014 city police attended at an east end residence and arrested a male accused, age 26, on an outstanding domestic related warrant. The warrant was for allegedly breaching a condition of his recognizance, that being not to communicate with the victim directly or indirectly. It is alleged that the accused contacted the victim on June 18, 2014 via Facebook. The accused will appear in bail court on June 20, 2014 at 10 a.m.
On June 19, 2014 a male, age 19, turned himself at the City Police Service regarding a domestic incident that allegedly occurred earlier in the day. It is alleged that the accused pushed the victim out the door of the residence. The accused was arrested and charged with assault and will appear in bail court on June 20, 2014 at 10 a.m.
On June 20, 2014 at approximately 12:41 a.m., police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 1200 block of Wellington Street East. Investigation revealed that the accused female, age 45, was at her boyfriend’s residence and an argument ensued. It is alleged that the accused became violent and a physical altercation occurred. The accused began assaulting the boyfriend, knocking him to the floor and choking him. Police found the accused walking on Wellington Street near Kohler Avenue in an intoxicated state. The accused was arrested for assault and a check of the accused was done and it was found that the accused was on probation with a condition to keep the peace and be of good behavior. The accused will appear in bail court on June 20, 2014 at 10 a.m.
