On June 9, 2016 City Police Traffic Division attended in the area of the Trading Post regarding a motor vehicle collision. One of the drivers is alleged to have exited her vehicle from the driver’s side and in doing so stumbled and exhibited signs of impairment. The accused was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle. When a breath test was taken at the Sault Police Service the accused was further charged with having care and control of a motor vehicle while having over the legal limit of alcohol in her blood. The accused Chantel Lafleur age 46 is scheduled to appear in court on July 18, 2016 at 9 a.m.
