Outstanding warrants 23 year old Andre Cormier was arrested at the Algoma Treatment and Remand Center on outstanding warrants for Fail to appear court and Fail to appear prints.

Outstanding warrants

23 year old Andre Cormier was arrested at the Algoma Treatment and Remand Center on outstanding warrants for Fail to appear court and Fail to appear prints. The warrants stem from a previous charge of unauthorized possession of a weapon. He is scheduled to appear in Bail Court on July 29.

Break in

A break in was reported to a residence in the 500 block of Second Line West.  Electronics, jewelry and medication were reported missing.

Assault

On the 25th of July, 2013 police arrested and charged 42 yr old Lylie-Jo Liscumb of 39 St. Basils dr. with assault and owner of dog – permit dog to run at large under the Sault Ste. Marie Bylaw.  It’s alleged that on the 24th of July, 2013 while in the area of St. Basils dr. the victim was speaking with a Humane Society representative when she was assaulted by the accused.   Liscumb will appear in court September 9, 2013 at 9am.

July 26 morning news:

On the 25th of July at approximately 10:30 pm a 41 year old male was arrested on domestic related offences. It is alleged the accused and his common law girlfriend began arguing over the fact she began removing his belongings from the residence. The argument escalated to the point where the accused pushed her into the ground. He also pushed 2 younger females who were present at the time. The accused was also on probation to keep the peace and notify a change of address which he had failed to do. He will be appearing in bail court later today.

26 year old Tyler Seaton of no fixed address was arrested by City Police officers on July 25th at 5:50 pm in the downtown area. The accused was involved in a theft from Sears and when approached by security, he assaulted the security guard and fled the area. He was apprehended a short distance away. A records check revealed that Mr. Seaton was on probation as well. As a result he was charged with theft under $5,000, assault and breaching two counts of his probation to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. He will be in Bail Court later today as well.
