Arrests: Stephen Andrew Duke, 29, of 1021 Bray Circle, Newmarket accosted a man in a north end parking lot and was charged with mischief, threatening obstruct justice and two counts of breach of probation.

Stephen Andrew Duke, 29, of 1021 Bray Circle, Newmarket accosted a man in a north end parking lot and was charged with mischief, threatening obstruct justice and two counts of breach of probation.

Kaitlin Rathbone-Laforge, 18, of no fixed address  was charged with breach of her undertaking by being on Albert St between Dennis and Gore St. She was also charged with breach of probation and will be in bail court this morning.

On August 23, at approximately 5 p.m. City police responded to a call for service at the Station Mall. Once there police confronted an intoxicated male who had stolen items from  a store. Clinton Cadreau, 18 of 20 Grosvenor, was charged with theft, breach of probation, possession of a prohibited, breach of a weapons prohibition, breach of a peace bond. He will be in bail court on August 24 at 10:00 A.M.

Driving while suspended

On the 23 August 2012 police pulled over Michael Andrew Gerrior (age 45) who was driving a pickup truck. It was discovered that Mr. Gerrior was disqualified from driving for life on two separate orders and suspended from driving on two other prohibitions. He was arrested and will be appearing in bail court on the 24 August 2012 at 10:00 AM.

Assault:

At approximately 10 pm  three males broke into a McNabbSt area home and assaulted a lone male occupant. The victim was hospitalized with injuries. Police are investigating.

Robbery:

Three males entered a McNabb St. convenience store just after midnight and robbed the store of cigarettes, money and chocolate bars. The males brandished a length of pipe threatening the clerk during the robbery.

A second home style invasion occurred in the Steelton area where three males broke into a home robbing the occupants of money, jewellery and an Xbox.
