POWER OUTAGE
In Sault Ste. Marie, we are fortunate to be close to the generating facilities of Great Lakes Power. It is business as usual for our residents. Other parts of the province have not been so lucky and still have not been restored to full power.

You are asked not to be alarmed if power is disrupted from time-to-time today. The system is still fragile and as we start joining up with the rest of the province, we may experience power disruptions.

It could take a couple of days to get all the generation capacity in the province reconnected. It would help if you would conserve power for essential needs only for the next couple of days.
