Fishy license plates result in numerous charges

On April 11, 2020, officers with Patrol Services arrested 29-year-old Daniel Parker for break and enter and on April 13, 2020, officers with Patrol Services arrested 27-year-old Gerald Anglehart for break and enter.

On April 11, 2020 a 7:15 a.m., officers observed Mr. Parker in the driver’s seat and Mr. Anglehart in the passenger seat of a vehicle with license plates not authorized for that vehicle. Police approached Mr. Parker and he gave officers a false name. He was arrested for having unauthorized plates, while Mr. Anglehart was told to leave the area.

A subsequent search of Mr. Parker found him to be in possession of a knife that opens with centrifugal force. A subsequent search of the vehicle was conducted and officers located ammunition and tools. As a result of the investigation it was discovered some of the tools were stolen from a business in the 1200 block of Great Northern Road on April 11, 2020.

Mr. Parker is charged with break and enter, possession of stolen property, two counts of possession of break in tools, possession of a prohibited weapon, two counts of possession of a weapon contrary to prohibition orders, two counts of driving while under suspension, three counts of driving while disqualified, resisting arrest, personation with intent and three counts of breach of probation. He is scheduled to appear in court on June 22, 2020.

Mr. Anglehart was located on April 13, 2020 and arrested. He is charged with break and enter, possession of stolen property and two counts of possession of break in tools. He is scheduled to appear in court on June 29, 2020.
