Firearms seized during Elliott Road disturbance call

Responding officers found three improperly stored rifles inside the residence

A disturbance call on Tuesday afternoon has resulted in the seizure of three firearms from a home on Elliott Road.

"Around 3:40 p.m., 911 Communicators received a report of a disturbance at a residence in the 100 block of Elliott Road. Upon arrival, officers found three improperly stored rifles inside the residence," Sault Police said in a news release.

As a result of this investigation, 27-year-old Sebastien Denis-Beaulieu was arrested and stands charged with three counts of careless storage of a firearm.

Denis-Beaulieu is scheduled to appear in court on Feb 12.
