Sault Ste. Marie Fire Services responded to a residential garage fire Thursday night.
Just after 10 p.m., firefighters were called to the the the 0-100 block of Elliott Road, where upon arrival, smoke and flames were visible from the detached garage. Crews were able to contain and extinguish the fire.
The garage did sustain fire and smoke damage, Sault fire said, but added that no injuries were reported.
