On May 4th, 2017 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 45-year-old Shannon Edwards of Biggings Avenue in relation to a theft.
It is alleged that on May 4th, 2017 the accused attended a store on Great Northern Road and selected just over $70.00 worth of merchandise before she left the store without paying.
The accused was apprehended by store security and held for police.
The accused was charged with one count of theft under $5,000 and one count of breach of probation. She will appear in court on June 5th, 2017.
