On July 27, 2017, officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 27-year-old Jalyssia Perkins of Willow Avenue in regards to a mischief.
It is alleged that on July 17, 2017 the accused engaged in an argument with a person known to her.
The accused then allegedly used a bat to break a window on a vehicle belonging to the victim. The accused allegedly then threatened to use a firearm to harm the victim, however no firearm was present. The victim left the area and contacted police.
On July 27, officers located the accused and she was placed in custody. She has been charged with one count of mischief under $5,000 and one count of uttering threats. She will appear in court on Sept. 11, 2017.
