SAULT STE MARIE POLICE SERVICE

On May 16, 2017 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 36-year-old female with regards to a domestic violence incident.
It is alleged that just after 1 a.m., the accused engaged in a verbal argument with her boyfriend. The argument escalated and the accused assaulted the male by punching him in the face multiple times.
The victim left the residence and the accused approached the victim again and punched him in the face.
The accused was later arrested and charged with one count of assault. She will appear in bail court today.
