A Sault man has been accused of impaired driving.

Police say a 27-year-old was stopped last night after allegedly driving erratically in the city's east end, in the area of Glen Avenue and Simon Avenue.

Upon speaking with the accused, police say they developed grounds to believe the accused had been drinking. The accused provided a sample into an approved device and registered a fail result, according to police.

As a result, David Risi was charged with impaired driving - blood concentration (80).

He is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 22, 2021.
