Emergency crews respond to pair of afternoon crashes on Great Northern

It is unknown if anyone was injured in either collision

Emergency crews responded to a collision involving a minivan and pickup truck at the intersection of Great Northern Road and McNabb Street this afternoon.

The minivan sustained extensive front-end damage in the crash.

Sault Ste. Marie Fire Services was on scene providing environmental response.

Just up the road. at the intersection of Great Northern Road and Stevens Street, first responders were also called a second collision involving two white cars.

It is unknown at this time if any injuries were reported as a result of either incident.
