A 47-year-old driver has been charged after a single-vehicle crash early this morning.
Around 1 a.m., police responded to a crash at the intersection of East Street and Wellington Street East.
The vehicle struck a guardrail.
Police say that, after speaking with the driver, they developed grounds to believe they were impaired.
Alessandro Dipasquo has been charged with operation while impaired – alcohol and/or drug and is scheduled to appear in court in February.
