A driver is facing charges after police say they seized drugs during a recent RIDE check.
Anishinabek Police Service and Batchewana Police Service were set up in Garden River First Nation Saturday afternoon.
They say a man they stopped was found to be a suspended driver.
Police say after the suspect was arrested, a search turned up 29.05 grams of suspected cocaine and 3.63 grams of suspected crystal meth.
Benjamin Reader, 30, of Desbarats has been charged with possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking (two counts), and driving while under suspension.
None of the allegations have been tested in court and Reader is considered innocent unless proven guilty.
