Police say a driver provided multiple breath samples, all over the legal limit, after one vehicle crashed into the back of another on the weekend.

The crash happened Saturday night in the 0-100 block of Hardwood Street. A 9-1-1 call came in around 11:20 p.m. and police say officers who responded spoke with the accused and "developed grounds to believe their ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol."

The driver was arrested. No one was physically injured.

Amanda Bouchard, 43, was charged with operating while impaired by drug or alcohol and operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over 80.

Bouchard was released and is scheduled to appear in court on July 15.

None of the allegations have been tested in court and the accused is considered innocent unless proven guilty.
