Damaged pool leads to mischief charge

Accused is scheduled for court on August 24

[Charge withdrawn] has been charged with mischief under $5,000 after police say he was seen damaging a pool on Pittsburgh Avenue. SooToday received the following release from the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service regarding this incident:

On June 21, 2020 officers with Patrol Services arrested [Charge withdrawn] for mischief under $5,000.

It’s alleged at 7:47 p.m., the accused was seen damaging an inflatable pool in the 200 block of Pittsburgh Avenue. The accused and victim are known to each other.

Police were called and upon arrival officers arrested the accused. He is charged with mischief under $5,000. He is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 24, 2020.
