Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is cautioning Saultites to be wary of American $100 bills.
"Two low-quality counterfeit notes were passed in the downtown area on Friday evening," says Const. Sonny Spina of Sault Ste. Marie Police Services.
The bills were printed on regular paper and serial numbers on both bills were the same.
