Cops find cocaine, cash and ammunition during search of Alexandra St. home

29-year-old arrested, scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 12

One person faces drug and ammunition related charges after police executed a search warrant on Alexandra Street Wednesday morning.

Detectives found suspected cocaine, 171 rounds of ammunition, and $4,885 in Canadian currency, says a news release issued by the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service.

As a result, 29-year-old Jesse Thorne was arrested and is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 12 to answer to charges of:
    •    Possession of schedule I substance
    •    Possession of ammunition contrary to prohibition order
    •    Failure to comply with probation order x2
