City police beat for August 6, 2016

Incidents on Wellington Street East, as well as Northern Avenue

On August 5th officers conducted a compliance check on 45-year-old Thomas Wierzbicki of Wellington Street East. The accused was on a recognizance to remain in his residence and found not to be present. The accused was arrested later that day and charged with breaching his recognizance and breaching his probation order. The accused attended weekend bail court.

On August 5th at 2pm security at the Metro Store on Northern Avenue observed 29-year-old Cody Cuthbertson of Franklin Street attend in the store and select various food items worth $15. It is alleged the accused left the store making no attempt to pay for the concealed products. The accused was arrested and charged with theft under $5000 and breach of his probation. The accused attended weekend bail court.

On August 6th at 10:30am police were called to a residence in the 300 block of Wellington Street East for a male smashing windows of the home. It is alleged that 18-year-old Brent Boissoneau-Stone of Hudson Street attend the home smashed a window and kicked in a door. The accused than left and returned a short time later where he entered the home and broke more windows. The resident was not home at the time of the incident. The accused was arrested and has been charged with Break and Enter and Mischief and will attend court on September 12, 2016.
