On July 31, 2017 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 30-year-old Mark Mancuso of Nixon Road in relation to a theft investigation.
It is alleged that on July 31, the accused attended a department store in the 200 block of Bay Street where he selected just under $260 worth of merchandise and left the store without paying.
The accused was apprehended by store security and police were contacted.
The accused has been charged with one count of theft under $5,000 and one count of breach of recognizance. He will appear in court on Sept. 11, 2017.
