Firefighters are on the scene of an apparent house fire this evening on the 0-100 block of Dennis Street at the corner of Bay Street.
Police have Bay Street blocked at Tancred Street and Dennis Street is blocked between Bay Street and Queen Street.
Insulation and other debris could be seen falling as a firefighter doused the ceiling in the interior of a house.
The Sault Police forensics unit arrived on scene and was taking photographs.
