A 39-year-old is accused of breaking into a person’s west-end apartment and stealing several items, including cash.
Sault Police say they received a 911 call Wednesday at around 1:30 p.m. reporting a break-and-enter in the 300 block of Korah Road.
Police say they later located the accused at his own residence, where he was arrested.
“Some items were recovered and returned to their owner,” says a news release issued today by the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service.
Steven Turco is charged with:
- Break and Enter – Commit Indictable Offence
- Theft Under $5,000
He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
None of the allegations have been tested in court and Turco is considered innocent unless proven guilty.
