SAULT STE MARIE POLICE SERVICE

On Dec. 20, 2016 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 23-year-old female for one count of assault with regards to a domestic violence incident.
It is alleged that around 11:50 a.m. on Dec. 20 the accused assaulted her boyfriend by punching him in the head several times outside of a West End residence.
At the time of the offence the accused was bound by a probation order that included a condition that she keep the peace and be of good behaviour.
As a result, the accused was arrested and charged with one count of assault and one count of breach of probation. She will appear in court on Jan. 25, 2017.
