Male arrested for domestic violence incident

On December 30, 2016 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 19-year-old male for a domestic violence incident. 

It is alleged that at 3:45 a.m. the accused went to the residence of his girlfriend and forced his way inside.  The accused was not welcome at the residence and the victim fled the scene.  

The accused was later observed throwing several of the victim’s belongings out of a window. 

The accused was taken into custody by officers and has been charged with one count of break and enter and one count of mischief under $5,000.
