A verbal altercation that escalated has led to charges against a 43-year-old.
Around 6:45 p.m. on July 21, someone phoned 911 to report an assault in the 0-100 block of Clearview Avenue.
Sault Police say officers responded to the scene and discovered that a victim was struck by someone known to them after a verbal altercation.
The victim suffered minor physical injuries.
Officers went to the home of the suspect and arrested her.
Lisa Lund is charged with:
- assault
- fail to comply with a probation order
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled back in court in September.
The allegations have not been tested in court and Lund is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
