Sault Ste. Marie Police Services charged a 33-year-old with assault. The full text of the release follows:
On April 15, officers with Patrol Services charged 33-year-old Lynn Anderson with assault.
Around 1:30 p.m. the accused approached a vehicle on Creek Road. Upon speaking with the victim, the accused punched them twice in the forehead, then got in a vehicle and left the area.
Officers located the accused around 8:40 p.m. at his residence and he was arrested. He is charged with assault.
He was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on June 13, 2022.
