On Feb. 5, 2017 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 55-year-old Fred Dufresne of Boundary Road with regards to a physical altercation.
On Feb. 5 the accused engaged in a verbal argument with a person on a neighbouring property over snow removal.
It is alleged that the accused then grabbed the victim and pulled him off of the tractor he was driving. The accused threw the victim to the ground and then picked him up twice and pushed him back to the ground both times.
Police were contacted and the accused was charged with one count of assault. He will appear in court on Mar. 6, 2017.
