Police have arrested a 44-year-old in connection with a break-in investigation from the last week of August.
On Aug. 27, detectives with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service began an investigation of various thefts from a business in the 100 block of West Street.
Police say that the accused had broken into the property and stole materials from the business. Police got a warrant for the arrest of the individual..
On Wednesday, police arrested Jason Corbiere, who has been charged with:
- break and enter – commit indictable offence
- theft under $5,000
- possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
- failure to comply with probation order
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 2.
