Police have charged Richard Rogers following an impaired driving investigation that took place last evening.
The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service stated in a news release issued today that officers responded to the are of Wallace Terrace and Goulais Avenue at approximately 7:30 p.m. following a report of a possible impaired driver.
The vehicle in question was located, a traffic stop was initiated, and the 43-year-old accused failed two breath tests, the release states.
Rogers is scheduled to appear in court on April 26 to face charges of impaired driving – blood alcohol concentration (80), and driving while disqualified.
