Arrest made after police respond to weapons call at McNabb Street business

A pellet gun was located by investigating officers

Police have charged Cecil Cuthbertson after responding to a report of a man with a gun at a McNabb Street business on Tuesday evening at approximately 9 p.m., states a news release issued by the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service.

Officers located and identified the suspect a short time later, and found a pellet gun in the area.

The 47-year-old accused is scheduled to appear in court on April 11 and stands charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
