10:45 a.m. update:
The active scene in the 700 block of Bay Street has been resolved without incident.
Three people have been arrested.
Officers remain on scene as part of the investigation, however access to that section of Bay Street is no longer restricted.
We are in the early stages of this investigation and further details regarding the arrests and charges laid will be released as they become available.

Members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service have an active presence in the 700 block of Bay Street.
As this is an active scene, we urge everyone to avoid the area.
