A pair of search warrants were executed on Wellington Street West on Friday afternoon and eight people were arrested as a result.
Detectives with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service's Crime Suppression Unit, Emergency Services, and Patrol Services executed the search warrants with the help of the Ontario Provincial Police.
The search warrants were conducted at a pair of residences in the 0-100 block of Wellington Street West at 1 p.m. Friday.
The investigation remains ongoing and detectives are still on scene.
