The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service has charged a 46-year-old woman with break and enter.
On Nov. 30 at around 11 p.m., officers with patrol services responded to a report of a break and enter at a business in the 200 block of Bruce Street.
“Upon arrival, officers located the accused inside the business. They were arrested,” police said in a release.
Amy Cosgrove is charged with break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence. She was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 27, 2025.
None of the allegations have been tested in court and Cosgrove is considered innocent unless proven guilty.
