On Friday, city police officers charged a 34-year-old man with impaired driving and dangerous operation of a vehicle at around 11:30 p.m. at a RIDE check point.
Police say when the accused pulled up to the check point on Second Line East, officers asked him to pull to the side of the road and provide a breath sample.
"The accused provided multiple breath samples into an approved screening device, all of which registered above the legal limit," police said in a news release.
Bradley Pascall was arrested. Police charged him with:
- Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80+)
- Dangerous Operation
Pascall was released on an appearance notice and is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 20, 2025.
None of the charges have been proven in court and Pascall is considered innocent unless proven guilty.
