21-year-old caller 'threatened to shoot people,' police say

Suspect is charged with uttering threats, due back in court Oct. 16

Sault police have charged a 21-year-old man who allegedly threatened to shoot people.

Police say on July 29, a person phoned 911 to say they received a call from the accused, who "told them they had a firearm and threatened to shoot people."

The suspect was located and arrested the next day.

Robert Crack is charged with uttering threats. He was released on an undertaking and is scheduled back in court on Oct. 16, 2023.

None of the allegations have been tested in court and Crack is considered innocent unless proven guilty.
