On May 15, 2020 officers with Patrol Services arrested a 13-year-old female for assault with a weapon.
The accused and several other people were at a residence in the 100 block of Breton Road. An altercation took place and at this time it’s alleged the accused grabbed a knife from the kitchen area and stabbed the 16-year-old male victim in the shoulder area.
Police were called and the accused was arrested. The victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The accused is charged with assault with a weapon and weapons dangerous. She is scheduled to appear in court on July 20, 2020.
