Founded over 40 years ago, the Sault Ringette Club is Algoma's only established ringette association.
The club has provided opportunities for boys, girls and young women to participate in an organized team sport at different levels of competition in an environment that fosters teamwork, confidence, work ethic and sportsmanship.
The Sault Ringette Club is dedicated to help develop female athletes in particular, as the sport came to be during a time when females were not allowed to play hockey.
The club makes the sport accessible and affordable to all, which contributes to the recreational and physical well-being of our community. Currently, it maintains a large player base including athletes ranging from ages 4 to 50+.
Through the hard work of the coaches and executive team, the club supports provincial-level teams, Jr. coach and referral programs, building female leaders in sport.
Congratulations to the team at the Sault Ringette Club!
