It's smooth sailing . . . er. . . travelling at Topsail Island after the city laid down a fresh strip of asphalt on the popular but previously unpaved section of Bellevue Park trails.
It's a move meant to improve accessibility at the park, and also includes paving the trail that runs around nearby Prince Island.
Popular with dog owners, scenic Topsail provides shelter to the Algoma Sailing Club and is favoured by local photographers who enjoy capturing its sunrises and sunsets.
