Sault Ste. Marie Innovation Centre: Christmas on the Farm

This 7.5- Foot Pre-Lit Augusta Pine Artificial Christmas Tree with Colour Changing LED Lights by Ashland is decorated with sustainable ornaments made by SSMIC staff, including dried citrus, locally farmed eggs, and needle-felted wool ornaments. This year the Sault Ste. Marie Innovation Centre would like to recognize the producers and farmers of the Algoma region and beyond with our Christmas on the Farm tree. Through RAIN (the Rural Agri-Innovation Network), SSMIC supports the importance of agriculture in Algoma by offering services, conducting applied research, and creating funding opportunities. Shopping local supports farmers from Algoma that create jobs and take steps to lower environmental impact. As we are unable to feature all local producers, we would like for this tree to act as an acknowledgement and thank you to all our agricultural entrepreneurs who keep our community strong.
