"Unfortunately, we will not be able to depart from Pearson airport today. As a result, today's events have been cancelled."

SooToday received the following update on Doug Ford's visit to Sault Ste. Marie, scheduled for today.
Due to the situation at Pearson airport yesterday, Ford's flight is unable to take off as scheduled. Please be advised that today's events will be delayed.

Progressive Conservative Leader Doug Ford will be in Sault Ste. Marie on Tuesday to make an announcement describing how he will protect Ontario if re-elected as premier in the upcoming election.
In the morning he will be at Algoma Steel and he will also visit workers at the Ontario Pipe Trades Council Local 800.
Later in the day he will travel to Sudbury to visit workers at the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 1687.
