Chris Scott wins the Sault by a razor-thin margin

PC candidate Chris Scott has won the Sault Ste. Marie riding with 43.07 per cent of the vote.

NDP candidate Lisa Vezeau-Allen came in second place, receiving almost 42.69 per cent of the vote.

Scott won by 118 votes.

He received 13,082 votes compared to 12,964 for Vezeau-Allen.

Liberal candidate Gurwinder Dusanjh came in a distant third with 10 per cent of the vote.

He was trailed by Arnold Heino for the New Blue Party with 1.86 per cent of the vote and Jaycob Jacques for the Green Party of Ontario with 1.39 per cent of the vote. 

Paul Frolich, running for the Ontario Party, had 0.99 per cent of the vote.
