It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of beloved husband, father, son and brother on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at the age of 43. Jason leaves behind his loving wife Helen, his children Chance, Skyler, Xander, Soren and Joshua. Much loved son of Teri Major (late Frank). Brother of Paula Page (Christopher). Special uncle of his nieces Hayley Smith, Whitney Smith, Journey-Lyn Page, Kellie Daynard and Danielle Daynard. Son-in-law of Marilyn Trumble (Steve). Brother-in-law of Lloyd Schoales. He is now reunited with his grandparents Catsie and Jeanne Perron. He will be dearly missed by many aunts, uncles and his many friends Andrew (Bubba), Albert, James, Whit, Travis, Robin and Sandy. Jay will be remembered by all his friends at the Canadian Nightclub as the DJ Reverend Jay where he’s worked for many years and everyone who he encountered as the owner of Total Package Entertainment. Special thanks to EMS and Sault Area Hospital Emergency Department for their valiant efforts and compassion in this difficult time. Friends may gather at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Sunday, October 30, 2016 from 2-4 pm for a celebration of Jay’s life and will continue at the Canadian Nightclub at 5 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Algoma or T.A.A.G in Jason’s name would be appreciated.
