NEWS RELEASE
TIMMINS FESTIVALS AND EVENTS COMMITTEE
*************************
After another successful Beer Fest saw 800 attendees raising funds for Rock On The River, the Timmins Festival and Event’s Committee (TFEC) is one step closer to releasing our highly anticipated line up. However, there’s one thing missing…The Northern Talent!

TFEC is opening up submissions for all local and regional acts to take part in northern Ontario’s fastest growing festival, Rock On The River. “We’re very happy to have Northern College once again teaming up to sponsor our Northern Roots Stage. This isn’t like most festival’s where the local acts play early in the day to the few early birds. Our stage allows our talented local and regional acts to share the exact same crowd as the headliners.

"If you’ve never been a part of a TFEC event, or even if you have, we encourage you to apply to be a part of the festival.” Our Northern Roots Stage is situated beside the main stage and allows acts to share the headliner’s crowd. Acts will also get a chance to sell their merchandise, expand their fan base, and work with our excellent sound crews. It is a paid gig.

Acts are encouraged to apply at TimminsFestivals.com under the contact page (or by clicking this link) by April 17. Although we may be Rock On The River, our Festival has booked solo acts, acoustic, hip hop, folk, pop and many other genres. All are encouraged to apply.
