ST. IGNACE, MI – April Wine and Lita Ford will kick off the 2017 Summer Series at Kewadin Casino St. Ignace on Saturday, June 24 at 7 p.m. Tickets will be available beginning May 5 and can be purchased online at tickets.kewadin.com, at the Kewadin Box Office or at the Kewadin St. Ignace gift shop for $18 or $28.
April Wine, which began in Nova Scotia over 40 years ago, has released 15 solo albums and continues to play to sold-out crowds every year. In 2009, the band received The Lifetime Achievement Award for its integral role in Canadian music, and reached a creative milestone with its induction into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.
In addition to April Wine, Lita Ford will perform songs from her solo album, Living Like a Runaway. This British-born rocker grew up in Los Angeles before breaking into the music industry thanks to her role as a founding member of The Runaways. Ford began her career as a solo artist following the breakup of The Runaways in 1980. Ford has produced six solo albums.

This concert is the first of three taking place on the shores of Lake Huron this summer. April Wine and Lita Ford are only two of the entertainment acts Kewadin Casino St. Ignace is bringing to the Upper Peninsula.
