Dear Sault Ste. Marie Pride Family,
It has become clear that the impact of COVID-19 will continue through the next several months. Sault Pride has made the difficult decision to cancel Pridefest 2020 for the time being, due to the concern of the spread of COVID-19, the public health threat, and an effort to keep our community safe and healthy.
In these uncertain times, we simply don’t have the capacity to fundraise, plan, and execute our usual events.
We hope that when social distancing has completely ended, we will be able to plan some type of Pride celebration event for Sault Ste. Marie's LGBTQ2SI community, even if it’s on a smaller scale and during a different season than our usual celebration. Keep an eye on our social media for updates.
