At 2:20 a.m. today, the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service received a report of a vehicle with a loud muffler waking everyone up on Kingsford Road.

They located the thunder-truck and found the driver to be somewhat sloshkoshbgosh'd.

Eighteen-year-old Tyler Pelletier of Apartment 13, 157 Willow Avenue was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol concentration greater than 80 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood.

He's also charged with possession of a controlled drug or substance after police found a small amount of marijuana.

Pelletier is due in court on December 21.
