SAULT STE. MARIE, ON (November 17, 2009) - The Trans-Canada Advertising Agency Network (T-CAAN), Canada’s largest network of regional and national advertising firms, will hold their 48th annual conference for the first time ever in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, from June 9-13, 2010.

The 2010 conference will be hosted by Claudia Daniels and Mark Falkins of BMR.

Daniels and Falkins were named T-CAAN co-presidents on September 1, 2009, for a one-year term.

Since 1985, BMR has been creating powerful ideas that resonate with consumers and deliver results.

They have worked with such clients as OLG, BC Lottery
Corporation, Essar Steel, Soo Greyhounds, Skate Ontario and Vancouver 2010 Lottery.

Principals from large, medium and small T-CAAN advertising agencies in virtually every market across Canada will meet in the Sault to discuss and explore every aspect of advertising, marketing and communications from rates and pricing strategies, hiring and retaining staff, social media and e-commerce to RFPs and business development.

T-CAAN accounts for an estimated $500 million in client advertising dollars spent in Canada.

Formed in 1963, the Trans-Canada Advertising Agency Network (T-CAAN) is an association of advertising agencies dedicated to providing top-calibre integrated marketing communications services across Canada.

T-CAAN is Canada’s local connection for marketing communications.

With a unique presence in every significant market across Canada and in the far North, T-CAAN offers a truly national reach, integrating individual insights that are always closer to the consumer.

Members are united by a shared passion for their work, and a commitment to building a network of inspiration and expertise for their clients that is as innovative and diverse as Canada - literally reaching all the people in all the languages.
