Algoma University Students' Union joined with students across Ontario today in a Day of Action protesting "the provincial government's lack of commitment to creating accessible social services."
They are demanding employment insurance and social assistance reform, a liveable minimum wage, affordable childcare and housing, good jobs for all and reduced tuition fees.
Protest rallies took place today in Toronto, Ottawa, Sudbury, Thunder Bay, Mississauga, Guelph, London, Sault Ste. Marie, Peterborough, Scarborough, St. Catherine's, Kingston and Windsor.
